Terms of Use
The rules for registering and using Kumul.AI.

1. About these terms
Kumul.AI is an education initiative of the East Sepik Provincial Government. The platform is operated by PNG EduTech Limited on its behalf. These terms are an agreement between you and PNG EduTech Limited as operator of the platform.
By registering or using Kumul.AI, you accept these terms.
2. Who may register
Registration is open to:
- Schools, principals and teachers in East Sepik Province.
- Partner organisations supporting the programme.
- Community entrepreneurs running a local access point.
Registration is subject to approval, at the discretion of the East Sepik Provincial Administration.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information when you register, and keep it up to date.
- Keep your login details secure.
- Do not share your account with anyone else.
- Tell us at service@kumul.ai if you think someone else has used your account.
- One account per person.
4. Responsibilities of principals
A principal uploading student records must:
- Be authorised by their school to do so.
- Obtain guardian consent before submitting, and confirm this by attestation.
- Upload only students enrolled at their own school.
- Keep records accurate, and remove students who have left.
- Not share their login with anyone.
Misuse of student records may result in suspension and referral to provincial education authorities.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Give false information.
- Access accounts or records you are not entitled to.
- Attempt to breach the security of the platform.
- Scrape the platform using automated tools.
- Use the platform to send unsolicited messages.
- Upload unlawful content.
6. Starlink kits and deployment
- Registering does not guarantee a Starlink kit, connectivity, or inclusion in any deployment batch.
- Allocation is determined by the East Sepik Provincial Administration based on programme priorities, funding and logistics.
- Deployment dates are indicative and may change.
7. Availability
The platform is provided as-is. It may be unavailable for maintenance, or because of connectivity, satellite or infrastructure factors. We do not guarantee uptime.
8. Suspension and termination
Accounts may be suspended or removed for breach of these terms, for providing false information, or where required for programme administration.
You may request deletion of your own account at any time by contacting service@kumul.ai.
9. Intellectual property
The Kumul.AI name, logo, platform and content are the property of PNG EduTech Limited. Educational and curriculum materials delivered through the platform remain the property of their respective owners.
10. Our responsibility and limits
This section is under legal review.
We work to keep Kumul.AI available, accurate and secure. There are some things we cannot promise, and this section explains them.
The platform is provided on an ‘as is’ basis. We do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors.
We are not responsible for:
- Loss of internet or satellite connectivity, including any interruption, delay or failure of Starlink or any other network or service provider.
- Any decision about whether a school, community or applicant receives a kit, or when a kit is deployed. Those decisions are made by the East Sepik Provincial Administration.
- The accuracy of information supplied to the platform by schools, users or third parties, including student records entered or uploaded by a school.
- Loss or damage caused by someone using an account without authorisation, where that happened because login details were shared or not kept secure.
- Any loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of data, or business interruption.
- Events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, power failures, damage to infrastructure, civil disruption, or actions of government.
Where we are found to be responsible for loss, our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid to use the platform. Kumul.AI is provided free of charge to schools, teachers, partners and community applicants.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the laws of Papua New Guinea.
If you use the platform in a way that breaches these terms, and that causes a claim to be brought against us, you agree to be responsible for the reasonable costs of that claim.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Papua New Guinea.
